We continue to search for that “fabulous Sumatra”. Our inventory continues to change regions and particular coffee brokers. There are so many coffees that come from Indonesia (which is where Sumatra is from.) To name a few regions that we have tried: Gayo Mountain, Mandheling, Sulawesi, it goes on. Currently we are roasting Mandheling and Sulawesi. Everyone has there own preference. I recommend both of these Sumatras. If you like a darker roast, please try Mandheling on a darker roast level.

We roast our beans at a level comparable to a FULL-CITY or AMERICAN. This allows each variety of bean a medium roast with the option of a lighter or darker roast. We commonly get requests for an extra light roast or an extra dark roast. We are happy to accomodate individual preferences just make a note at checkout on the Roast style you would like.
